Lake Balaton is the largest lake in Central Europe and visitors can swim, sail, or simply relax on one of the many lakeside beaches that are dotted along its perimeter.The village is only accessible by one road making it a hidden treasure of peace and tranquillity, ideal for those who want to escape from city life. The surrounding countryside is ideal for hiking and nature walks.
Historically Viticulture has been an important part of life in the local area and there are several wineries nearby including; Dobosi Birtokközpont (an 18-minute drive), and Kecze-Hady Kémvéves Pincészet Aszóf?, Balogh Pince Pécsely and Csobánc Winery which are all approximately a 30-minute drive from the accommodation.
Position
The surrounding countryside is ideal for hiking and nature walks. Guests can pair local wines with the flavors of Hungarian cuisine at one of the local restaurants, taverns, and eateries that offer a mix of traditional Hungarian dishes.
History lovers will enjoy a visit to the 13th-century Kinizsi Castle in Nagyvázsony (a 28-minute drive). The town is also home to the historic Szent István Church.
