Exploring Lake Maggiore is easy with the ferry pier in Piazza Marconi (18 minutes) in Stresa, where you can catch a ferry to the famous Borromean Islands. With their beautiful villas, gardens, and churches, these islands make a great day trip.

Please note that the owners feed the resident cat here twice a day, so any dogs staying will need to be kept on a lead or be cat-friendly.
