Essential amenities, transportation, the lakeshore as well as the ferry to the famous Borromean islands are within 15 minutes of walking distance from the mountain-view residence.The vacation rental is located just a few minutes walk from downtown Stresa; several supermarkets and several restaurants as well as the beautiful Stresa pier are just a 15-minute walk away. Also close by are the Stresa ferry terminal and the gorgeous Villa Pallavicino with gardens from the 1800s. From the ferry terminal, guests can easily reach the famous Borromean Islands (Isola Bella, Isola Superiore and Isola dei Pescatori) and soak up their fantastical beauty made of Roman baths, Villa Emden and small but spectacular beaches.
On-site, the delightfully peaceful and sunny apartment allows plenty of opportunity to unwind and features a private balcony with open-air dining, a Smart TV and a books library. Inside, there is a separate dining area, with a lounging space equipped with 2 big sofa chairs just behind it. Visitors can take one of the ferries in the port (a 5-minute walk away) to explore the islands and immerse themselves in their rich history. The beautiful hiking area of Passeggiata Lungo Lago is within easy walking distance, and the famous Lake Orta is within half an hour’s drive.
