Inca, 2 km away, is known for its leather tradition and, there, you will find all kinds of high-quality leather goods. Thursday market is the most important market in the Inca and there will be access to a great variety of local products. This market has a very long tradition and has been carried out for many centuries. Moreover, you can visit the 3 late Gothic or Baroque churches from the 13th century, the Convent of San Bartolomé, or the chapel of Santa Magdalena. The latter is situated on a hillside with a spectacular viewpoint. Inca's Plaza del Angel is famous for its good restaurants and lively pubs. The convent of Lluc, amid nature and in a beautiful setting in the Tramuntana, is also worth visiting. A 25-minute drive takes you to the fantastic north coast and to Alcúdia's Bay, famous for its fine-grained sand beaches.
