At the beach; Near water
It's located only a minute walk from the thin sand beach, Playa de Gandía, where you can rent hammocks and parasols, play beach volley, practice water sports or have a nice walk at the seaside and port, wich is full of bars, restaurants and ice creams shops. So, the beach offers a wide range of activities for all tastes, depending on what you fancy to do, since resting in the sun to be more active and practice sports.
You can also visit Gandía's old town, which not only has excellent restaurants, but a nice historical story to tell. You can discover more about the past of this city, and visit important and beautiful monuments, like Ducal palace, the nice City Council or Santa Clara's convent. Ducal palace, from the XIV century, deserves special attention, as it was the first house of Gandia"s first Duke. For nature lovers, it is a must-do the trip to Cueva del Parpalló, a very interesting prehistoric site, located at the Mondúver massif.
