Authentic mountain village and small touristic resort, Saint Sorlin d'Arves offers you an unforgettable holiday in the middle of nature, with endless opportunities for entertainment, especially for those who love outdoor activities like hiking and walking as well as climbing and cycling. There are also possibilities for fishing. Whether beginner or advanced, you need to try all of these activities. Maybe you are tempted to try climbing, archery, mountain biking or horse riding, or play a game of tennis, or why not go for an afternoon of paragliding? Maybe you would like to learn the techniques of climbing at the school of the resort, or take your kids to one of the workshops.And that's not all! You can contemplate the magnificent landscapes as you discover the mountainous places of the resort, including woods, alpine meadows and lakes, with their spectacular array of colors.
Located at an altitude of 1550 and 1700 meters above sea level, Saint Sorlin d'Arves is the village which occupies the highest altitude above the Col de la Croix de Fer (mountain pass).
Your residence, composed of three buildings placed side by side, is situated in the center of the village, close to the Ski School and the Tourism Office.

Discover alpine passes like the Croix de Fer, the Glandon, the Télégraphe, the Galibier, the Lautaret, the Massif Avan-Villard, the peaks of Glandon and Croix du Fer and beyond, the massifs of Belledonne and the Grandes Rousses, the Pic de l’Étendard - climb them or conquer them by bike following the multiples paths and established circuits. You can take walks or even go donkeys trekking, plus you can visit magnificent places like the three dams (Grand-Maison, Verney and Chambon), the Nant Bramant cascade and the three lakes: Bramant, Blanc and Tournant, situated at the base of the Saint Sorlin d'Arves glacier.
If you are a cheese lover, you have the opportunity to visit the cheese shop of the Arves valley, known for its famous Beaufort. You can also visit the surroundings of the village to admire the architecture of the buildings, especially the Saint Saturnin church, built in baroque style. If you are interested in fashion, you will find pieces of history at the Musée de la Vie d'Autrefois (the Museum of Life from Former Times).
Do not miss: The County Festival, which takes place in July, the Transmaurienne-Sybelles mountain bike tour, which takes place between 7 and 11 August in the French Alps, and the Acrobatic Forest Park Acro'Jump.
The resort also offers a diversity of shops, very close to the residence: from a bakery, pastry, news agent/tobacconist, to stores with sporting items, a hairdresser, pharmacy, post office, bank and restaurants.

Please note that the reception hours are as follows: every day from 8 to 10 am and from 4 to 7 pm; Saturday from 8 to 12 am and from 2 to 8 pm.
Arrival: Saturday starting from 5 until 8 pm. In case of late arrival, please inform the reception on Saturday before 8 pm in order to receive the necessary indications.
In case of an earlier arrival, please note that you will be able to enter the accommodation only starting from 5 pm.
Departure: on Saturday before 10 am (on Thursday morning please communicate to the reception the exact hour of your departure).
To be paid locally: a deposit of 300 € and the amount of the tourist tax (amount fixed per apartment per week - value to be seen directly on the spot).
Pets are allowed for an extra fee (70.00€/pet/stay). Dogs must be leashed inside the accommodation.
Free services: bed linen is provided, free covered parking, ski lockers. A small, outdoor, heated swimming pool with paddling pool is placed at clients disposal only during summer season.
Services with an extra charge: baby set, rental of towels, final cleaning service; laundry service, TV rental, internet reception point.
