The setting is amazing! Discover alpine passes like the Croix de Fer, the Glandon, the Télégraphe, the Galibier, the Lautaret, the Massif Avan-Villard, the peaks of Glandon and Croix du Fer and beyond, the massifs of Belledonne and the Grandes Rousses, the Pic de l’Étendard - climb them or conquer them by bike following the multiples paths and established circuits. You can take walks or even go donkeys trekking, plus you can visit magnificent places like the three dams (Grand-Maison, Verney and Chambon), the Nant Bramant cascade and the three lakes: Bramant, Blanc and Tournant, situated at the base of the Saint Sorlin d'Arves glacier.
If you are a cheese lover, you have the opportunity to visit the cheese shop of the Arves valley, known for its famous Beaufort. You can also visit the surroundings of the village to admire the architecture of the buildings, especially the Saint Saturnin church, built in baroque style. If you are interested in fashion, you will find pieces of history at the Musée de la Vie d'Autrefois (the Museum of Life from Former Times).
Do not miss: The County Festival, which takes place in July, the Transmaurienne-Sybelles mountain bike tour, which takes place between 7 and 11 August in the French Alps, and the Acrobatic Forest Park Acro'Jump.
The resort also offers a diversity of shops, very close to the residence: from a bakery, pastry, news agent/tobacconist, to stores with sporting items, a hairdresser, pharmacy, post office, bank and restaurants.
