Notre Dame de Bellecombe is one of the most picturesque of all French alpine resorts, located just above Flumet in the fantastic surroundings of the Val d'Arly between the Aravis and Beaufortain mountains. The landscape of Notre-Dame de Bellecombe consists of spruce forests, alpine chalets which are located in mountain meadows and snow-covered peaks. It is easy to reach, from the south via Albertville or from the north via Sallanches - both 25 km from the exit of the motorway. It is also easily accessible via the TGV and then with connecting buses. Words can not do justice to the village of Notre-Dame de Bellecombe. The baroque tower serves as the center of the village and the characteristic wooden chalets are spread over 11 hamlets. The long sunny days are filled with traditional trade shows and wine festivals but you can also enjoy walks through the stunning surroundings with its fascinating wildlife and beautiful flowers. Every Monday morning a local market is held in Notre-Dame de Bellecombe. The city of Notre-Dame de Bellecombe and its charming inhabitants offer various facilities and activities including a theme park where you can learn about life in the mountains, archery, children's playgrounds, horse and pony riding, tennis, street hockey, many wonderful restaurants and bars . Golfers can enjoy the variety of 3 golf courses in the area plus a 5-hole training course (with driving range and putting green) and an outdoor driving range with instructors. You can also use 16 well-marked hiking trails and 27 mountain bike trails with varying degrees of difficulty. The Lac chairlift is open twice a week so that walkers and mountain bikers can take a closer look of the fantastic Mont Blanc.
