Les Orres is a commune in the Hautes-Alpes department of southeastern France. It is a beautiful mountainous area with a Mediterranean touch. The facilities here are of a high level and you will find a variety of organized sports and cultural events organized throughout the year. Of course you can participate in the typical sports like hang gliding, rafting, hiking, escalade, quad riding and mountain biking. There is also an adventure forest, tennis courts, summer toboggan run and a public swimming pool. About 15 kilometers from Les Orres lies the 9000 hectare Lac de Serre-Ponçon (lake) where you can enjoy a variety of water sports. It has several beaches complete with lifeguards. 2 kilometers from the center there is a small lake where you can swim. It also has beaches with lifeguards, shops and water sports activities. No matter what part of the year you choose to visit Les Orres, you will not have time to become bored!
