A beautifully restored house in southern Tuscany, looking out over vineyards and olive groves, this property is an ideal base for a large group as it sleeps up to 10 people in comfort. The house is wonderfully placed between the Valdichiana and the Val d'Orcia, just 1km from the centre of the Etruscan town of Montepulciano. Montepulciano is world-famous for its excellent wine and there are many wine cellars where you can taste it. The historic centre is a medieval pearl rich in history and culture, events and traditions. Other delightful day trips include Chianciano Terme (20 minutes), Pienza (20 minutes), a UNESCO world heritage site, at the beginning of the Val d'Orcia and the city of Siena (50 minutes), one of the jewels of Tuscany, famous for the medieval joust, ""The Palio di Siena"", which is run on 2nd July and 16th August. Perugia international airport is 1 hour 20 minutes away.
