Barbaste is the gateway to the Landes, this small village is well known for its Moulin des Tours and the 12th century Roman Bridge with 10 arched arches, a site that once housed the future King Henry IV before his hunting trips. Nearby, you can also see the recently restored Maison Aunac. Near Agen, the tourist residence welcomes you on the edge of an 18-hole golf course. In the heart of a natural and calm landscape, the residence offers two outdoor swimming pools and a children's play area to guarantee you an unforgettable stay with family or friends.

Barbaste is anything but boring, starting with the amusing names of the surrounding villages: Mongaillard, Pompiey, Feugarolles, Xaintrailles… This Lot-et-Garonne town is known for the friendly and down to earth nature found throughout the hamlet. In the heart of the forest, Barbaste is a great starting point for beautiful nature walks, adored by guests who are fans of fresh air and tranquility.

You’ll also love the Pont Roman, full of charm with its massive stone arches straight out of Cyrano de Bergerac. Let yourself be charmed by the unbearable lightness of the be-ech trees, sessile oak trees, or even the maritime pines which stud the surrounding landscapes, before visiting the Bee Museum or the Chateau de Trenquelleon in Feugarolles.

Albret and Barbaste are two other nature reserves which will make you want to stay in the region forever. Give in to the charms of the flora of the Coursiana gardens and the delicate mauve corollas of the Garden of Lilies. The Chateau de Poudenas is surrounded by a vast ten-hectare park and home to a former mill and post office from another era.
