At the beach; Near water
Cala Pi owes its name to the many pines that sit on the 30 m high cliffs and that line the wild brook of the same name ("torrente Cala Pi"). At its end stands a military tower from the XVI century. Cala Pi is situated 17 km from Llucmajor and only 4 km from the prehistoric settlement Capocorb Vell which was declared a historical-artistically important building ("Monumento Historico-Artístico Nacional") in 1931 by the Spanish Cultural Ministry.
The capital of Palma de Majorca is worth a visit, too, where you will find the biggest offer of tourist attractions, culture and shopping possibilities. Get lost in the small alleys of the „pearl of the Mediterranean Sea“ – it is worthwhile!
