Alpe d’Huez ski resort is a particularly sunny ski resort in the French Alps with over 300 days of sunshine per year which has earned its nickname « Ile au soleil » (island in the sun)! Alpe d’Huez at an altitude of 1860 m, offers a magnificent view over the famous peaks of the Oisans region: the Meije, the Mont Blanc and the Aiguilles d’Arves. Alpe d’Huez is a top destination for all ski and snowboard fans, with an altitude drop of over 2200m, and a choice of over 250 km of ski slopes.

CHILDREN
French ski school 'Chalet des Enfants': An area of 250 sqm, dedicated to skiing, games and creative activities, taking up to 45 children aged from two and a half. The children are also introduced to the mountain environment and at the end of the week, come away with their medal for skiing and a little book about life in the mountains.
The Piou Piou Club, next to the child-minding chalet, houses 2 magic carpets and a snow-rope.
