Val d'Isere is a true favourite with the Brits and shares the great Espace Killy ski area with its neighbouring resort, Tignes. Boasting 300km of slopes suitable for beginners through to the adrenaline junky off-pisters, Val d'Isere and the Espace Killy is a favourite for some top winter events from World Cup racing to Polo Masters and a whole host of freestyle ski and snowboard events at the Val d'Isere snowpark, Valpark. Val d'Isere itself is a lively resort with some great Apres ski and fine dining options to suit all budgets. There's plenty on offer away from the slopes from cinema, full sports complex with pool, spa facilities, ice-skating, you can take to the skies and try out paragliding (or Parapenting as it's better known in France).
