Nestled on the slopes of Monte Codula Manna, an extinct volcano, the village is surrounded by a stunning circle of limestone mountains rich with woodlands.
The village is renowned for its beach, small port, numerous hotels and restaurants, artisan shops, scenic beauty, pleasant climate, and a variety of entertainment and cultural events, some of which are internationally recognized, making it a popular destination year-round.
From Cala Gonone, you can take a boat to reach the famous Cala Luna beach, a precious gem requiring adequate protection, and the Bue Marino cave.
